The much-anticipated opening of the new St Andrew’s mall is imminent, following the completion of Eldon Square’s £170m redevelopment.
And eager shoppers won’t have to wait long, as the doors to a new era of retail in Newcastle will open on 16 February.
With an additional 400,000sq ft added to the mall, managers are expecting a significant increase on the 30 million annual visitors it currently attracts.
Among the new attractions are an impressive four-storey Debenhams outlet, the UK’s largest New Look and the city’s first Apple store.
