Property experts welcomed

FLOODING and the environment top the agenda when North East property professionals meet in Newcastle next week to update their specialist knowledge.
Northern CPD Day is organised annually by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) for anyone working in the land, property and construction sectors. (Sourced from nebusiness).
A total of 19 experts will speak during the day-long event which is being held at the Civic Centre in Newcastle on 10 February.
To kick off, Margaret Fay, chair of the development agency One North East, will deliver a keynote address on opportunities for the region as the economic recovery grows.
Following that, there will be 18 sessions on a wide range of subjects. This year, as well as the standard updates on planning law, rural tax, building regulations and rating, there are a several sessions on environmental issues.
David Coulson, chairman of the RICS North East regional board, said: “We have some excellent speakers, people who are real experts in their field.”
