Paul Woods is named Finance Director of the Year

Newcastle City Council’s director of finance and resources Paul Woods was named Finance Director of the Year in the North East Accountancy Awards 2010.
 
Woods, who topped a shortlist of five to scoop the prize, received his award in a glittering ceremony at the Newcastle Marriott Hotel.

Around 300 members of the region’s finance and business community were on hand to congratulate the winner on the night.
